I get monthly facials, but in-between I wanted to keep my skin feeling and looking good. While nothing can take the place of a good facial, this cleansing brush is the next best thing. I have sensitive skin and I was a little hesitant; the bristles are soft and the 2 spin speeds allow me to accommodate all areas (sensitive and non-sensitive) of my face. I bought this brush while I was traveling, and had forgotten to pack my beloved Clarisonic. I didn't have high especially hopes, but was pleasantly surprised. The head is slightly smaller than the Clarisonic, which I discovered I actually prefer - you are able to reach targeted areas much easier. The smaller size does mean it takes a bit longer to complete a full cleaning session, but the control and precision makes it worth it. I was also pleased to find it comes with an extra head, which I plan to replace about three months after use. I decided to make this my travel brush (I travel about a week per month) because it is small and battery operated. It would be nice if they added a choice of brushes for skin type. I use it morning and night with Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser Foaming Formula or Nuance Salma Hayek Oxygen Activated Foaming Face Wash if my face is particularly oily/dirty/made up. Quickly after I'm finished using it (to allow the products to absorb best), I follow with a Garnier night cream or day cream. All affordable, and all from CVS! It does the job
I wanted to try a facial cleansing brush but didn't want to spend upwards of $100 on one. This one was the right price, and I am very pleased overall with the results. The brush is soft enough to be comfortable and not do damage, and the two speeds and reversible nature of the brush head makes it effective. Definitely a good buy if you want to try a brush but don't want to break the bank doing it. I'd recommend it. So-So
I'm not sure if it's just my skin type but the brush seemed to give me more acne. The brush itself is pretty soft and seems to work out most of the surface dirt but the brush only has 2 speeds and spins both clockwise and counter clockwise. I say it may not be for you if you have dry, sensitive skin but for those with oily skin it may work better for you. I'm going to stick with old fashioned steam for now. I love love love this product see I HAD two pimples on my cheek that WOULD NOT go away knowing me i freaked out so i got this lovely product after looking at the clarisonic and saying "woah its that much?" so i paired this with my burts bees orange oil face wash and it has done wonders for my face!!!!! its so smooth and clear!!!! thank you!!!!!
