For wounds that you can comfortably cover at home and without the need of a healthcare professional, the CVS Health™ 3-Step Kit for Medium Wounds assists in your effort to treat minor cuts, scrapes, or burns. Included in the kit are 2 non-stick pads and a roll of gauze for wound coverage and fluid absorption, as well as 2 butterfly closures. Should your injury require them, this kit provides pre-cut tape strips to hold the non-stick pads in place. After the wound has been gently cleaned and dried, a triple antibiotic ointment may aid in the prevention of infections before applying your bandages. 2 complete dressing changes can be comfortably completed with all of the CVS Health™ 3-Step Kit for Medium Wounds components. Gently clean the wound using a gauze pad with mild soap and water. Discard used pad. Carefully dry the affected area and apply triple antibiotic ointment, if needed. Cover the wound with a non-stick pad for full wound coverage and fluid absorbency. Use butterfly closures if needed; application instructions inside. Secure pad in place with rolled gauze or pre-cut tape strips.
