CVS Health Senna Laxative Softgels relieve occasional constipation (irregularity). Taking them as directed generally produces a bowel movement in 6 to 12 hours. These liquid-filled softgels are made with a natural vegetable laxative ingredient and contain 8.6 mg sennosides. Directions for use: Consult the packaging for dosage information. Take preferably at bedtime or as directed by a doctor. For children under 6 years of age, ask a doctor before use. Warnings: Do not use laxative products for longer than one week, unless directed by a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you have stomach pain, nausea, or vomiting, or you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts over two weeks. Stop use and ask a doctor if you have rectal bleeding or fail to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative. These may indicate a serious condition.
