CVS Health Tubular Gauze is a type of wound dressing made specifically to protect injuries on the fingers and toes. This combo comes with four finger protectors, a 48-inch long roll of gauze and an applicator. The applicator makes this kit easy to use. The instructions apply to either your fingers or toes. Use the rubber finger protectors over injured fingers to keep the gauze dressing dry while washing your hands or taking a shower. The rubber covers can help protect your fingers or toes when you have blisters, burns, stitches, cuts or even a bad rash. The gauze keeps dirt, debris, water, bacteria and infection out.     Cleanse the wound and apply a small amount of antibiotic cream and a small non-stick sterile gauze pad to any open skin or abrasion. Measure gauze against the injured finger or toe to 2-1/2 times the length. Trim as needed. Slide gauze over the applicator and place it on the finger (A). While holding the gauze with one finger, withdraw the applicator to the end of the finger, twist 360 degrees (B) and slide the remaining gauze back over the end of the finger (C) to make a second protective layer
