Why does it need to take 90 seconds to get reading? The temperature difference before and after BBT spike is normally0.54 ºF to 0.9 ºF, so the BBT to be measured must be in high accuracy. Experiment stats suggest 75-sec is the minimum time for oral method and it is normal to take usually 1.5-2 mins
