See directions below. Before adding water, insert 2 "AA" batteries according to polarity markings.
Fill the reservoir with approximately 8 oz. of water.
To activate/deactivate fountain, turn power switch to ON or OFF position. NOTE: Never operate fountain without water.
Keep fountain on a level and stable surface during use.
Note: Always drain water from the fountain before turning over replacing batteries.

WARNING: Only use a UL approved DC3V adapter (3V, 250mA) (not included). DO NOT use an adapter for more than 72 hours continuously, this may damage the fountain. KEEP THIS INSTRUCTIONS SHEET FOR REFERENCE AS IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Do not mix old and new batteries. 
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
Insert batteries using the correct polarity. Do not short-circuit the supply terminal.
Remove batteries when not in use. Recycle or dispose of exhausted batteries according to federal, state, and local laws. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire - they may leak or explode.
Only use manufacture specified battery(ies), charger(s) and/or adapter, if applicable, specified by the manufacturer.
Always use, replace, and recharge (if applicable) batteries under adult supervision.
DANGER POTENTIAL FOR ELECTRICAL SHOCK - If using an DC Adaptor (not included), there is a risk of electrical shock. Never expose the unit to water.
If using an DC adaptor, use only a properly rated UL-certified adaptor.
Small parts may pose a choking hazard to children. Not for children under 3 years.
Inspect the product before every use. If the product appears worn, frayed, cracked, or broken in any manner, discontinue use and discard immediately.
