Yes it is a large pill but it is smaller than a generic brand I tried. It has a coating which the generic brand doesn't have which helps when swallowing. It does not cause me any stomach problems but then again I do not have stomach issues when taking vitamins. Everything I have read as well as my GYN's recommendation is to take slow release calcium combined with Vit D for maximum asorption. great product no stomach upset

One dose and slow release!
I was thrilled to find this only had to be taken once a day. With other brands, the calcium is taken twice a day, and I would always forget the 2nd dose. A great all-in-one.
I've been taking this for some time now and find it easy to swallow, and I tend to be fussy that way. It's a great combination of Calcium and Vit. D, plus magnesium to prevent constipation.0 users found this review helpful.
