I just recently purchased these strips. I went to hang all 4x6 picture frames that were very light on my wall and when I did it was fine for a day and then they came off and smashed on the floor. When I went to remove the backing using the black pully tab it ripped all the paint off of my walls. I thought this was damage free hanging?? I would rather have nail holes then peeling paint. Love these Products!

When I found these in the store I knew I had to try these. I used them on two full length mirrors and am so happy with the results.The paper backing on back of mirrors had to be removed. Small task for big results. Done this before and the take off is so easy with no marks. I got all my deposit back from my apartment move out. This product does not work

Very disappointed in product failure/damage!
I received a 30x 40-inch foamcore-mounted color photo-print as a gift for X-mas. The artist and offeror expressly recommended using this Commnand mounting product to hang the picture in the vaulted gable wall on an interior stairwell of my home. I mounted the photo print in accordance with the product instructions. One month later and this morning I awaken to find an abrasion on an adjacent wall and the entire 2.5 pound print laying face-down on the stairs, damaged/ripped with the Command mounting strips still affixed to the foamcore backing, but not to the wall. While I've previousl;y used Command hook products for even-heavier picture hanging, to say that I'm diappointed in the failure of this product - moreover the damage to the expensive ($150) print - is an understatement. Upon closer inspection, I see where 3M discretely placed a disclaimer on their product packaging that waives any guarantee or responsibility for damage arising from even the designated and appropriate use of their product. Hanging Strips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In using the command products for the first time, I have found over the past 4 mths. they surely help when you are renting and are not allow to nail anything to the walls. The hanging strips are great cause I can hang those pictures and etc that I love to have around the house. The strips hold very well and are easily to remove and change things around.
