[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our college-age kids used command strips and loved them so after researching whether we could use them to hang lightweight string lights in a new room, we bought these. Unfortunately, the command strips came off and peeled off a spot of the new paint when the string lights fell down. We used four clips per string of mini-lights. What a disappointment! Saved the Holiday Festivity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought a new house wit new vinyl siding and roof. Was very hesitant to hang holiday lights from gutters, eves and roof. Used the clips which were very easy to apply and then remove despite bad weather ie snow, rain and cold. Disappointed :(
I was looking forward to using these outside on my vinyl window sills, but could not get them to stick. I followed the directions exactly. Clean dry surface...applied correct side to vinyl and held firmly for 30 seconds. Also it was 42 degrees. All but 2 of the 10 I tried actually held. I'm waiting an hour to hang anything on them, but at this point I'm not getting my hopes up. Also is there a weight limit? I know they are made for lights, but like the other command products they are very versatile. Very surprised given the other rave reviews. Command hooks are so useful in my home that I use them everywhere. Taking Holiday Decorating to New Level
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of these outdoor light clips and they are great. I have used other command hooks to try and accomplish hanging up lights but they never held the whole season and didn't hold the lights up well. These clips hold the light strings perfectly and I don't think the clips are going to come down until I take them down. I'm so excited to take my holiday lighting to a whole new level.
