The stockings were FULL by Christmas morning and these hooks were strong enough to hold them. They were super easy to remove as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rent and try to make as few holes in the walls as possible. These medium hooks are lifesavers. I put them up all over the place. From hanging pictures, towels, curtian rods.. yes curtain rods. you can get very inventive.
