    Works well

I used the pad in cold mode. Pros - The pad retains a low temperature for about 30 minutes. - The clay in the pad is moldable to the shape of my shoulder and arm and keeps the shape well, allowing the cold to be directed to the desired spots. Cons - The strap is useless; but I didn't have a need to use it anyway.

    BEST HOT/COLD PAD!!!

I've used gel pack hot/cold pads, but this one's much better than those. The clay stays soft even after its reached the ice freezing temperature. It has a play dough type consistency and kind of molds to the shape of your anatomy that you apply it to. Due to the softness of the clay and it's moldable ability, it is really comfortable to wear and makes maximum contact with my skin/body contours where I need it. Also, unlike most other hot/cold pads, the inner pack is BIG - 6x12"! I bought it mostly for a sore rotator cuff and it's big enough to wrap around my shoulder. I've also used it on my hip and plan to use it on my knees too (for arthritic conditions). The only problem that I have with it is that the strap is always too short or too long for where I need it. It woul be nice if the strap was removable and adjustable in leghth or if they provided one or two more straps in various sizes. It's a great value for the price though and I plan to just use an elastice Ace type bandage to help hold it in place. Oh, another thing- many of the more expensive ones use a neoprene sleeve or pouch, but this one has a medium weight soft fabric pouch which is much better. I don't know what they are thinking using neoprene. Neoprene is used for wet suits because it insulates! Why put hot or cold into something that insulates; you want the pouch to TRANSMIT the temperatures, not insulate them! This one works much better than those.

Great buy and works very well.

Moldable and easy to manipulate to the area of need. Quickly cools down in the freezer. Definitely buy these again and recommend them.

    Great quality!

Works as well as the name-brand ones. Works well for aches as well as a sinus headache.
