Accurate if you calibrate it first
You need to calibrate it the first time you use it or anytime you move it. To calibrate: Step on the scale and get off within one second. Wait for the scale to turn off. Then use it normally.0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendBeauEvilReviewed 8 years ago
Great, cheap scale which can weigh in STONES!
Weird! This scale has served me faithfully for several years. I generally weigh 3 times, discarding the first number. For some reason, the first reading is off by a few pounds, then all subsequent readings are consistent. It's like it has to break free or warm up or something. I'm good with that. Today, after not using it for about 6 months, it came up weighing in British STONES! I never even imagined that a digital scale could do that. I'm impressed to have such a setting. But, I don't know where the manual is and found this page searching online for instructions. This setting change is a minor fluke and may be related to an aging battery.0 users found this review helpful. - moolyxReviewed 9 years ago
Inaccurate
Was excited to get a cheap scale, but I was very disappointed with the inaccuracy. I would move it into one room, and it would say 105, and in the next it would say 109. Even if I repeatedly weighed myself in the same place, the results would always come out different. Bad product0 users found this review helpful. - lisa193Reviewed 9 years ago
Completely inacurate
I got it a week ago, used it, it was showing 40 pounds below my weight. I changed batteries, still would show weight in the range of 30 pounds. I returned it and got the same one. I thought maybe that was damaged. New one was not correct either, Showed 10 pound difference. Horrible product. It caused me so much time.0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendcommercesdReviewed 9 years ago
Great Value and Works Perfectly
Was surprised to find a digital scale of this caliber for so low a price. I did not need a body index digital scale - so this is just what I needed. Beautifully designed, no one will ever know it was a mere $10 which is just a few dollars more than the dial scale I had that I could barely read. Worth more than its weight in gold (pun intended).0 users found this review helpful. - BrokenHeartReviewed 10 years ago
It broke after a few days.
Like everything else, you get what you pay for. I got a few readings before it broke. I asked my home care nurse to try it. It was way off. So, I took it back. Full refund It might have been a lemon, so I'll buy and try another one.0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendmetfanReviewed 10 years ago
great for the price
If all you want is a simple scale that just tells you what you weigh this is the perfect scale. This is the second one I bought, for my second bathroom.0 users found this review helpful.
