    False Positive

I don't usually leave negative reviews but this one could really make people upset. I was late with my "you know" and was scared I was pregnant. Hubby ran out and got this test and the first one I took was positive. It looked odd though because the line was thin. It just didn't look right to me and through the night it had gotten darker and the other lines had disappeared. Took the other one in the morning and it was negative. My "you know" started. I am done having kids so I spent the night crying. This could really upset you either way. I can see where someone who wanted kids/more kids would be so upset and I definitely was spinning thinking of the fact I would have to start all over again and I already have twin 5 year old boys that run me ragged. Just be warned, if you buy these this can happen.

    Works great.

I bought this test when a cheaper test gave me a positive result after having some negative tests. We wanted to make sure that this positive was actually correct so we went to CVS and tested with this product. It was postive as well. So didn't have any issues with the test, make sure to read all the warning and instructions included. I recommend this product to any couple trying to get pregnant without spending extra money on name brand tests. We scheduled an appointment with our doctor to confirm our findings. (So yeah the tests worked out fine, don't know what all the other reviews are about.) Differently comparable to name brand.

    False Positive

False Positive. Sounds insane right? Its not! There are numerous accounts of this on the internet too. This test was by far the worst purchase I have ever made in my life. Not only did it give false hope, but caused unnecessary heart break. Also causing an extra $50 to be spent on an unnecessary copay when we believed I was then having a miscarriage. The line was a very definite blue line. TERRIBLE PRODUCT!!

    Like a charm!

I am really shocked to hear the previous reviews. I bought two different types of CVS brand tests and they both worked like they should. The first day I took it, it was super light. The next morning, much darker, and it showed up right away. I don't have any negative comments at all.

    Very faint positives

Unlike the reviews saying this test gives a lot of false positives, I had almost the opposite experience. Even when I was definitely pregnant, the test line was so faint compared to the control line I wasn't at all confident in the result. My blood HCG test taken an hour after using this test showed an HCG level of 700+ mlU, and these tests supposedly are calibrated to return a positive at just 25 mlU. Just out of curiosity, I took another test a few days later (I had bought the 2-pack!) when my blood HCG tested over 2500 mlU, and still the positive line was super faint. So, keep in mind that ANY visible color on the test line indicates a positive result; don't expect the test line to be anywhere near as dark as the control line.

    False Positive

I typically love CVS (and its products), but I have to share my awful experience. We have been trying to get pregnant and I bought a CVS Pregnancy Test to see if we had any luck. I got a positive result (and, not a light one - it was blatantly blue). We were very excited and I ran out the next morning to get two digital tests so that I could see the word "pregnant". Unfortunately, both of those test came back negative (as did the many more I did after that). I then started to read reviews on this product wondering if there was still hope and saw many other posts similar to this. The word "disappointed" doesn't begin to cover it. I just hope they fix this product or take it off the shelves before anyone else has to experience what we went through. If not, I hope that other couples read this review before they test and choose another product.

    SERIOUSLY!!

You are nervous enough having to take the dang test, but then it doesn't work!! Nothing in the control window and a big fat negative...that means...sorry try again!! Give us more money because you wasted that last bunch. Nope, money back guarantee here I come!!

    FALSE POSITIVE

I only gave this one star because I couldn't give it 0. After having the sneaking suspicion that my birth control had failed, I bought two of these to test, and they BOTH gave me false positives. One was a lighter false than the other, but they were both definitely there, I even woke my brother up at 3am to check. I went first thing the next morning and bought a 3 pack of First Response Early Response Pregnancy tests to confirm my positive and got a negative. Don't waste your money, time, or worry. Baby dust to those trying, no little pink plus signs for those in fear! Blessings
