DON'T BUY!
Sorry CVS, your product is unreliable! Found 2 holes at the top near the latex band. As a result, my wife's cast got wet and needed to be replaced. Take your chances if you want to, but don't waste your money on this product.0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendpinkflower3Reviewed 9 years ago
great
Bought this product on September 5 and have used it every day. Have had no issues with anything regarding its serviceability. However, I don't have a cast but rather an Unna boot that must be protected in the shower.0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendTravlrReviewed 9 years ago
Works for me
I broke my arm while in Kauai and I bought one of these at the Longs in Lihue. I am an adult woman and it makes a tight enough seal on my arm. I cannot put it on myself, though the package indicates that I should be able to. I read the mostly negative reviews after I bought it, but it has been over 2 weeks and no leaks. I see on this web site it is over $15, but I only paid $5. At that price I actually picked up a second one as backup. Time will tell if I will need I, I hope to have the darn cast off soon.0 users found this review helpful. - BurnieReviewed 10 years ago
virtually worthless
I have purchased two of these protectors. The first began leaking within two weeks. I checked it and believed the leak was caused by my hanging it one a hook. It was not. The second one has begun leaking, in the same place (the seam under the rubber cuff), again within two weeks. Totally unacceptable. I'll attempt to determine if their guarantee of lasing as long as the wound is valid.0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendCeilReviewed 10 years ago
Great for a short arm cast
My 18 year old son has been using this for 7 weeks without ANY problems to cover his short arm cast. His arms are very thin, but the cuff works well to prevent water from damaging his cast.0 users found this review helpful. - RonchoReviewed 11 years ago
Not very reliable
The package says it will last the life of the cast, i am on week four with the cast and the third unit because the other two were defective but not until a few uses. They are very good about refunding your money but that does not help the soggy cast.0 users found this review helpful. - AnonymousMomReviewed 11 years ago
Too big for child
The concept of this product is fine, but the circumference of the opening was too wide to provide a water-tight seal for my son's 9 year old arm. I think it would work for a child's leg cast, but not arm.0 users found this review helpful.
