Last year I got a new DVR that came with a new remote control. The new remote had a backlight that was very useful as it also had more and smaller buttons than the old one. So, I use the backlight a lot. As you can imagine, this drains the batteries quickly. I tried all other major brands in the new remote, but they'd only last a month or six weeks at most - even the expensive "lithium" ones. I gave this a try and they have been the most long-lasting batteries in the remote - at least 2-3x longer.0 users found this review helpful.
