I've always had very clear and fair skin but for a couple of months I was consistently breaking out on my right cheek and because of my complexion, the scars/hyperpigmentation really stood out and made me self conscious. I tried some more expensive products like D Scar by Kate Somerville and didn't see much of a difference. So I went for a facial and asked the aesthetician what products I could use to help the marks fade faster (fully expecting her to recommend something expensive like a hydroquinone cream) She just said "Mederma! It's amazing" Well I went to CVS and decided to roll the dice with the store brand since it was cheaper. That was four days ago and I already see a DRAMATIC difference in my marks. The newer ones are starting to fade away and even the old dark scars have started to lighten to a pink color. The texture of that part of my skin is already a lot softer. And, as far as I can tell, it's not making me break out. They say it takes four weeks to see results but mine came almost immediately! Definitely worth the money and I would highly recommend this product.0 users found this review helpful.

This product works well, but in comparison to Mederma it's a little bit more of a hassle, because you have to apply it more than once a day. Overall it does help with the appearance of scars. I've only had it for a few days, so we'll see how it goes.0 users found this review helpful.
