Takes some time depending on the degree of blockage
My ears were severly blocked, I could barely hear a thing. I put the drops in one ear and immediately heard and felt the crackling (which is normal). The box doesn't specify how long to keep it in your ear, so I just kept my head tilted until the crackling started to slow down (almost like when cooking popcorn). When it did I used the siringe, and washed out a significant amount of wax. I wasn't so lucky with the other ear. The first, second, and maybe even third time I put it in I barely heard any crackling which made me think there was no wax. But like the instrutions say, try using it for at least 4 days. Maybe the 4th or 5th time I used it , it removed a significantly sized wax cluster. After the removal of that, I put in 7 more drops and immediately head the crackling just as I had in the other ear. How did Debrox get so many 5-star reviews? Didn't work for me.
I give it 3-stars simply because I don't want to be the anomaly. I'm either using it wrong or my ears are too clean? I simply don't think this product works. I could be wrong and will try reading more directions. I followed the directions on the packaging but it's not clear what I should do after I put the liquid in my ear and for how long?0 users found this review helpful.
