Eucerin is known for long-lasting, moisturizing products. My skin is very dry, therefore, I have tried various products. This product appeared promising. I was pleased with the long-lasting moisture and my skin's appearance. I was very disappointed with the stickiness of my skin. Definitely returning this purchase.... Best product I have ever used.
The advanced repair eucerin, body lotion has been the only non-prescription cream to help me in 59 years. I have ichthyosis, I use it just minutes out of a shower. It is and has been the only product that keeps my skin flake free for more than 48 hours that's indicated on the label I believe. I truly cannot say enough about this product, it has saved me from having to see a dermatologist multiple times a year. Not this one....
Tried this product. Oh my gosh! My skin stayed so sticky and stayed that way for hours and hours. I went to bed and even the sheets were moving around from the strong stickiness. I had to wash it off of at least my hands because it was just too sticky. Yikes! Need to go back to the "Light Feel" I guess, hopefully that has not changed. Definitely a "thumbs down" on this product. A lifesaver!!!
I suffer from chronic eczema. I was diagnosed with it about 9 years ago but the dermatologist's recommended treatment was prescription cortisone cream which worked but I quickly exhausted the large tube of cream within a matter of days because of having to cover most of my body from feet to neck so I thought I can't maintain this treatment at $60 a pop for a tube of cortisone cream that only lasted me less than a week. My dermatologist had also suggested applying a moisturizer within 3 minutes of getting out of the shower or bath to lock in the moisture which he said can help since one of the beliefs with eczema is, turns out there are a lot of unknowns with eczema, that dry skin is thought to be a trigger which was a much more reasonable option for me even though I wasn't one for using lotions because they made my skin feel like it was suffocating. Well, shortly after using up the second tube of cortisone cream and not buying a third tube the eczema which was starting to come under control started to flare back up which the doctor had told me would probably happen if I stopped using the cortisone cream so i was getting a little desperate. The desperation left me skeptically open to a conversation I had with some random guy I had encountered for about an hour one day who I thought was a total nut case but he claimed to be a swimmer and suffered from what sounded like eczema to me as a result of being in the pool so much and that his doctor had recommended what is now called Advanced Repair Lotion, I've been using this for so long i can't remember what the original product name was before they changed of it, to use after showering and he swore that it worked and was the only thing that relieved his itchy skin. I'm running out of characters so...I tried it, applying it within 3 minutes of showering, used it daily, and it changed my life, I firmly believe using it calmed the symptoms down allowing my skin to slowly heal. Extremely Disappointed Loyal Customer
Eucerin was my number one lotion. I did not only introduced it to my friends and family, but also sent it to my friends overseas. I have a really dry skin, and after a long search and changes of skin care products, Eucerin was the only one best to my skin. Only until they changed to this new one with a red cap. Eucerin used to dissolve in my skin and make me not only feel and become soft especially on my extremely dry hands. But, with the new one, it first shines like vaseline, and doesn't dissolve in the skin. Immediately after I apply to my skin, in only 2 minutes I feel so dry, which was not the case with the original, previous products. I couldn't be more disappointed and frustrated. I wish they still made the old products so I didn't have to go through this. They had really good products, why change something that isn't broken?????
