I've been a user of the prior aloe formulation for years because of its mild scent. This new formulation has an extremely strong, harsh, unpleasant scent to it. Smells Terrible
I rarely write reviews, but I really felt I had to express my disappointment in this product. My family has been using Irish Spring for decades due to issues with skin sensitivity. We are also a bit more sensitive to strong fragrances than most people. We started out using the original Irish Spring scent, but eventually switched to the previous version of Aloe and used it for years. The old formulation of the aloe had a very mild and not unpleasant scent. This new Aloe Mist formulation has an extremely strong and highly unpleasant scent. I was originally going to give it a try for a week, but only managed to use it once before needing to get the smell out of my bathroom. New formula is really bad
The reformulation of Irish Spring seems to be just one more in the current line of product changes to make them cheaper or environmentally friendly, and which ruin the product. The new scent is one thing, but I can live with that. But this soap doesn't lather anymore, and that's what I buy soap for. I've used Irish Spring for years, but no more. New fragrance is awful!
I bought the new aloe mist. After bringing it home, I found the new fragrance to be just plain awful and overwhelming. It has a detergent odor (like Gain). The smell permeated my home. Never buying this again. Not ever!
This new scent is absolutely terrible! The original Aloe scent was subtle. Aloe Mist is too strongly perfumed, especially for a guy. Hate it, and will never buy it again. Never buying again unless they go back to original recipe
I hate to write a negative message. I never contact companies, but the new formula for Irish Spring Aloe Mist is terrible. It is nothing like the original Irish Spring Aloe. It was the only soap I have ever used in my lifetime, but I cannot continue using it with the new changes made it it. All the reviews agree. Nobody likes the new version.
