I LOVE this kit/polish! I have natural nails and have struggled for years w/ the upkeep of polish and even gave it up totally for a long time due to the maintenance but finally decided to bite the bullet and spend the extra money on this kit and I'm SO glad i did. Granted to do it right it DOES take some time but just follow that the directions say and its simple! The only thing that "I" found (which i actually liked) is that i guess depending on your chemistry and/or how much u do w/ ur hands the polish actually peels off the nails all in one piece after a while so i wind up NOT even having to soak them off b4 the next apply WOOT! lol ;)0 users found this review helpful.- Yes, I recommendNersijoReviewed 11 years ago
Saves so much money!
I bought this kit a couple months ago. Between a sale, Extra Bucks, and coupons I was able to get it for a great price. I have used the kit once on my toes and about 4 times on my hands, so already I've saved a TON not getting them done at the salon. The kit is very easy to use and the instructions are simple. Once my cuticles and nails are prepped the whole process of painting and curing the polish takes about half an hour, less if I'm just doing a clear polish. The polish really does last about two weeks, just like a salon. I usually have to take it off before then only because my nails have grown out so much, but the polish is intact and still high shine. The only problem I've had is only attributable to user error, because I still need some practice not getting the polish on the cuticle or my skin. If I do, the edge that touched the cuticle or skin is very visible as the nail grows out and doesn't look nice, but that's me and NOT the kit. Salley Hansen has been my favorite nail polish for 15 years and has proven themselves again with this kit. CVS is amazing. Watch for coupons and Extra Bucks to keep the cost down of buying more polishes and the basics (Step 1 and Step 3). Also when you need to refill on base and top coat, it is much cheaper to buy the Essentials Kit (Step 1, Step 3, and some prep cloths) than buying them separately, FYI. At least at my store. Last tip: the prep pads (for cleaning the nail bed before applying base coat and removing the sticky film at the end of the manicure) are just rubbing alcohol, so you don't have to buy the refill box of prep pads. This Kit is worth every single penny!!! I absolutely love it! :) It is very easy to do and it last for about 2 weeks. My nails have also grown so much! I bought this after speaking with several owners of several gel systems, and this one was on sale. I've used it for about six weeks now and despite having thin, bendy, brittle, peeling nails, my nails are actually at a length that I like (long enough to "have nails", not so long as to cause me problems in my daily life). Not worth the money

Great product if you know how to use!
This is a great product. Buying this here equals two trips to get the same thing done at the salon. I read some reviews saying: "Beware: hard to get off"... -It's supposed to be! That's what it does, is last. as far as the comment that it bubbles, maybe you are not doing it right...or something is wrong with polish. GREAT PRODUCT! Easy to apply
Gel polish easy to apply. Even with two coats and two topcoats, doesn't last as long as I expected it to. Beware -- only 100% acetone or special remover is needed to get this off. Regular nail polish remover doesn't touch it.0 users found this review helpful.
