ruined my $178 New white jeans. Leaves ugly yellow stain.

I did not expect a CVS product to be so inferior to other stain removals. I followed the instructions. I used the stain removal stick and used a damp cloth and even rinsed the jeans afterwards. I machine washed them after that. The white jeans are ruined. I looks like a cat has urinated on them. I can't get the yellow stain out. CVS claims that I did not follow the instructions! I did not test the fabric first because I could not imagine that CVS would sell such bad product. The rest of the instructions were followed.

just as good as tide pen

I bought this pen because my CVS was out of the tide stick. I was surprised it worked just as good but a whole lot cheaper.

    DO NOT BUY

    1. When I opened this the product spilled out all over my hands 2. Left weird residue on my skin where it spilled that won't come off 3. Did not remove stain 4. Made stain worse DO NOT BUY THIS. GET TIDE TO GO INSTEAD.

    Made the stain worse

This product is horrible! I got 2 small drops of coffee on my white sundress while I was out last weekend so I went to purchase a Tide Pen, but the store was out. My only option was the CVS Stain Remover On the Go. Not only was it not effective, but it caused the stain to bleed to a much larger area and then it set the stain. I've tried soaking, washing, and even bleaching - nothing will remove the large stain this so-called stain remover left! My sundress is completely ruined!

    Fabulous

This product works better than Tide To Go, perhaps because the applicator pad is better than the marker-like tip on Tide. And, it costs less. I've not only used it on-the-go but I found it great for cleaning stains on delicate items, like quilts, and smudges off fabric handbags. The bag and quilt came out looking like new. Now, I always have a couple of these stain removers on hand.

    Instructions are not complete

This product has a good recommendation from Consumer Reports, but additional instructions are needed for use of the product. I reapplied to stain on knit shirt and soaked overnight in washer. The stain was removed but the underlying fabric was removed also, the shirt is a loss.
