It was recently suggested that I try a medicated heat patch to ease a bit of back pain I've been experiencing. Having never used something like this before, I purchased an individual CVS brand patch, just to try it out. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try it out because it would not stick to any part of my back. I followed the directions exactly and after trying several times (and several areas), I finally gave up and threw it away. Equally as effective as name brand. I cut them to the size I need for more precise, effective relief.

Wonderful Relief!!
I bought one of these last night in hopes that it would help the muscle spasms I've been dealing with for a year now - I have issues with Piriformus Syndrome...basically it's a muscle spasm in your buttocks that causes a LOT of pain in the sciatic nerve. Heat has been feeling better but I'm on my feet all day at work and the rubs just weren't cutting it. So I tried it - not only did it actually STICK all day (yes on my bottom!) but it got hot enough that I could feel it and it didn't burn or leave any rash behind when I took it off. The patch worked wonderfully - it gave 8 full hours of heat and pain relief as stated on the packaging. For a sore muscle it was perfect and a huge help I would definitely recommend these to someone needing long term applied heat to a large muscle area0 users found this review helpful.
