    Thermometer doesn't register correctly

CVS digital clinical thermometer doesn't register correctly. I agree with all the negative comments about the accuracy of this thermometer.

It should be a crime to sell this

The only positive thing I can say about it is that its consistent in its poor readings. Having said that, one person will consistently get 3-4 degrees above normal and another might get 3-4 degrees below normal and they might be 0.2 degrees apart in reality.

    Disappointing

This thermometer does NOT work in five seconds. This was really important. It took a long time. I would never recommend this product.

    Do NOT buy

My daughter was warm so I took her temp with this thermometer I bought 2 days prior. It read 96.5. I took it 4 times making sure it was under her tounge and held her lips closed. After that, I cleaned it and took my own temp. It STILL read 96.5! I remembered I had cleaned the top of the fridge the day before and found another thermometer that looked the same. Yes, it was the same kind! I probably threw it up there in frustration. I took my temp with it also. What do you know... I have a 96.5 temp on it also! I must be dead... Really crazy since it was 7 am and I had just crawled out of a warm bed and from under tons of blankets! I sent my husband to the store for another thermometer which did NOT read 96.5 degrees.

    Worthless

just bought this while on vacation because my son appears to be running a fever. 13.99 is not the price for a highly precise piece of scientific equipment, but, I would expect better. Immediately it registers 111.5 for my son, and knowing that this is unlikely, I then tested my own skin temp, my palm registers 103.8 in a cold airconditioned room. This thing is worthless.

    Not 5 seconds

I bought this because I need a quick thermometer to measure my toddlers temperature. Even when I use it myself, holding it firmly under my tongue, it takes about 20 sec. Try getting a toddler to do that!
